Elizabeth Fernandez Karas, 68, died Friday, September 15, 2017 at her residence with family by her side.
She was born April 16, 1949 in New York, NY to Gilbert and Emma Fernandez. After graduation, she spend several years in the US Army as a nurse and continued this profession after returning to civilian life.
Memorial services will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 10:00 am in Rivers of Living Waters Church on Bingham Drive.
Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Richard Karas; daughters, Nichole Jenkins and Martha Kicari; parents Gilbert Sr. and Emma Fernandez; grandchildren, Ashley Long, Anthony Licari and Lilly Licari and siblings, Dolly Hercher and Gilbert Fernandez, Jr.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Rivers of Living Waters missions trips in memory of Elizabeth. A mission that was near and dear to her heart.
