The Steelers, Penguins, and Pirates had a true fan in David.

He is survived by his wife, Connie Bates; his daughter, Kathleen Hebrank (Erich); his grandchildren, Julie Smoker, Landon Smoker, and Jax Smoker; his great grandchildren, Brentley Hebrank and Keaton Hebrank; his brothers, Robert Bates (Connie) and Eugene Bates (Donna); his sisters in law, Margie Bates and Marion bates; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
