Charles Mack Daniels, Sr, 79, of Fayetteville, NC (formerly of Saratoga Springs, NY and later Harrisburg, PA) transitioned home to glory on July 28, 2023 surrounded by family. Bro. Charles Sr. was born on April 17, 1944 in Prince Edward County, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Daniels and Jessie Mae Daniels and his beloved wife of 53 years, Jennie Marie Daniels.
Left to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy are one daughter, April Davenport (Todd) of Harrisburg, PA; two sons Charles M. Daniels, Jr (Lynda) of Fayetteville, NC; Craig L. Daniels (Amy) of Lykens, PA, 14 grandchildren, from April – Simeon, Aliya and Rekiya; from Charles, Jr. – Charles III, Chelsea, Chad and Charity; from Craig – John, Francisco, Diamonda, Devan, Ayesha, Zion and Isaiah. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Parker (George) of Saratoga Springs, NY, mother-in-law Mamie Sims and four sisters-in-law – Barbara Forde (Gary), Edwina Gray (Roscoe), Sharon Simmons, Deena Oliver (Orlando) and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was a graduate of Teen Challenge Training Center of Rehrersburg, PA. Upon graduation he remained at Teen Challenge for several years to teach. Charles owned and operated a custodial business for many years where he was more than just a presence in a home or business. He diligently applied himself to his trade.
Charles Sr. was a man of few words, except when it came to praise and worship. He loved the Lord with all his heart, soul, mind and strength. His daily habits included Bible reading, praying, and praising and worshipping his Lord and Savior. He was previously a faithful member of Shiloh Church of God in Christ (Pastor Carl E. Hines) and later Zion Assembly of Harrisburg (Pastor Raleigh Wingfield) for many years. After relocating to Fayetteville, he became part of the Rivers of Living Water Church family (Pastor Johnny Rivera). He enjoyed attending every church service, Bible study and Senior Adult Fellowship Luncheon.
Charles Sr, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend that will be sorely missed by all.

A visitation with family & friends for Charles will be held Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rivers of Living Waters Church, Bingham Drive, Fayetteville, North Carolina, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
