Casey John Fowler

Casey was a nature enthusiast and loved all creatures, big and small. There was nothing too high to climb, or too risky to explore. He loved a good mental challenge, and often played board games, video games, and card games. Casey earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts in Digital Design in 2006. All things technology came very natural to him. Casey was a family man and always said the two best days of his life were the day he married Lesley and the day he became a father to Josephine. Casey was Josephine’s favorite person in the whole world. He was a man of God and was a member of Rocky Mount Seventh Day Adventist Church, and had been attending Fayetteville Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Casey joined the Army on September 21, 2000 and served until September 20, 2004. He earned several honors and awards during his service including Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officer’s Professional Development Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Expert Marksmanship Qualification Badge with Rifle Bar, and Parachutist Badge.

Casey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Delpha Brueggeman Towne, Marian Emogene Griffith Moon, and Doward Jerome Fowler.

Casey will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Lesley Rae Hymbaugh Fowler; his sweet baby girl, Josephine Rae Fowler; his parents, Steve and Faith Towne Fowler; his brother, Benjamin Chester Fowler; his grandfather, Charles Towne; parents in law, Ray and Christina Hymbaugh; sister in law, Sarah Jo Hymbaugh; and his fur kids, Mollie and Penny.

The family will accept friends for visitation on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home. Funeral Services with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Fayetteville Seventh Day Adventist Church.
