Bettie C. Wilson

She was born on October 27, 1936 in Sampson County to the late James and Vivie Thornton Warren.

Bettie was a loving home maker, wife, mother and friend who followed the Bible in her daily life and the raising of her children. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Franklin; a son, Ronald Wilson and a brother Billy Warren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Highland Baptist Church 4456 Legion Road in Hope Mills with Rev. Zach Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park on Raeford Road. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 am until noon.

Among those who remember the good times and mourn her passing include daughter, Patricia Summerskill and husband Michael; son, Jeffery Wilson; sister, Grace McLamb and granddaughter, Renae Summerskill.
