Mrs. Anita Louise Sautter Taylor, 78, of Hope Mills died Friday at First Health Hospice in West End.
Mrs. Taylor was retired from K-Mart and Sam’s Club and was a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was born and raised in Tontogany, Ohio. After marriage, she joined her husband at his various stations with the US Army, eventually settling in Fayetteville/Hope Mills, NC. She was a proud mother of eight children, grandmother of nine and great-grandmother of eight. She was predeceased by her mother and father Doris and Keith Sautter, brother Douglas and sister Marilyn.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11am at Reeves Funeral Home, Hope Mills, NC with burial in Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
Surviving are her husband Thomas C. Taylor; daughters Debra K. Taylor (Faye Cotner), Cynthia L. Baker (Michael) and Dawn M. Holt (Timothy); sons Kris A. Taylor, Michael A. Taylor, Rick E. Taylor (Gina), Scott P. Taylor (Sharon) and Gregory W. Taylor; grandchildren Joseph D. Baker, Christi L. Byrd, Keith A. Taylor, Jennifer M. Taylor, Cheyenne Sharp, Tyler A. Holt, Emilie S. Taylor, Jessica F. Taylor and McKenzie M. Taylor; and great-grandchildren Audrey N. Byrd, Tyler I. Holt, Taylor C. Jones, Taylor M. Byrd, Jessica, Samantha and Lindsay Schimmel, Joseph M. Baker and Sean Franks. She is also survived by her sister Rose McClure and her brother Alan Sautter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association/Bladder Cancer Research, 3470 Sunset Avenue, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
Visitation will be held Monday from 6 until 8pm at Reeves Funeral Home.
