WILLIAM JAMES “BILL” BARTON, JR., 78, of Honolulu, passed away October 27, 2011. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was a retired Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Bank of Hawaii, a long-time member of the Pacific Club, and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He is survived by his companion, Martha Laxson, and a daughter, Beth Burgin.
Services will be held on Monday, November 14, 2011, at The Cathedral of St. Andrew, 229 Queen Emma Square, Honolulu, Hawaii. There will be a Gathering at 3:00 p.m., a Memorial Service at 4:00 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life at the Pacific Club, 1451 Queen Emma Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. Lei are welcome.
