

Walter Thomas Perreira, 85, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away at his residence on Friday, March 30, 2012. He was born in Hilo, Hawaii and was a Cost Accountant with the Department of Public Works, County of Hawaii. He was also a graduate of St. Mary's High School and Hilo Commercial College with a degree in accounting. In addition, he was a veteran of both the U.S. Army and Army National Guard.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie Dolores Vidinha Perreria – Kailua, HI, daughter Yvette (Patrick) Lewis – San Ramon, CA, daughter Emelyn (Chico) Furtado – Kaneohe, HI, son Duane (Kathleen) Perreira – Honolulu, HI, daughter Anne (Ismael) Eustaquio – Kailua, HI, and daughter Millicent (George) Gilmore – Kailua, HI and 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was a parishoner of Saint John Vianney, Roman Catholic Church in Kailua.
Visitation: 9:00am Monday, April 16, 2012 at St. John Vianney Roman Catholic Church, Kailua. Services: 10:00am. Burial to follow at Hawaii State Veteran’s Cemetery – Kaneohe, at 1:00pm
