He was a good friend to my sister, Toinye & overall a great person. I remember he drove miles out of his way to come pick me up when I was stranded. God has gained a kind soul. Condolences to Thomas’s family. 

When I didn’t hear anything for months I knew something was wrong. I’m glad to have known such an amazing person!

Thomas. I just heard the news. I refused to believe it until I found your obituary. I, honestly, still find reluctance in reaffirming the unexpected tragic news. I'm numb. I'm in disbelief. It feels like only yesterday that we talked about going on a trip to the Philippines together this year. I never, once, took for granted the weight and value you held our friendship to. Although I realize the practical futility of this message (something I know you would've agreed with), writing it gives me a minute semblance of peace. I'm at a loss for words - I can't remember the last time I've simultaneously loved, missed, and hated somebody so much. 

Hi choochoo!!! I can’t believe your gone! I just found out tonight. My heart aches that the world has lost someone so amazing! Me and my husband will never forget you and I know that no one at the BABOOZE bar will either! We have had so many great times and even better conversations! I wish we took that scuba trip when you came back to Maui for a short visit! I remember the first day that I met you and I couldn’t help but call you choochoo because of Thomas  the choochoo train and you looked at me like I was crazy because no one had ever called you that before lol, but after a while when you came in you expected me to call you choochoo you looked forward to it. You have truly impacted my life In such a great way and I’m truly gonna miss chatting with you on fb! I’m so glad to have met you!!!! 

Thomas was my half brother. We didn't get to grow up together & I'm sure I missed out on alot of good memories. He was blessed with other siblings that love him dearly. I can say we really got to know each other over the past 10 years & I am ever so grateful that I didn't miss out on getting to know him. He was taken away from so many that loved him. Hope he finds that beach in the heavens & scubas daily now. If there's one thing I think of with Thomas, is his beaming smile & great personality. You are so missed. Till we see each other again..........

Thomas, I don’t think it has hit me yet that you are truly gone.  I will miss all of our silly conversations where we try and make sense of the World.  You were the best man in our wedding and continued to be a best friend . My heart aches from your loss but your memory will remain in all the stories that will be told for the rest of our life’s. Until we meet again, I hope there are 24 hour bars with pool tables, hammocks on the beach and plenty of Scuba Diving in Heaven . Until we meet again... I love you ! 

Thomas was the first person to rent me my first apartment on my own in sunset beach and for him I’m so thankful I’ve met so many wonderful people including him. I’m so sorry I wish I could’ve been there and helped. When I see you again I know you’ll have an amazing place waiting for me. You’re in a way better place I know that. I will always remember you Thomas. You have a good soul. And always will. 

Deciding to post this just continues to make it more real. Thomas became a great friend and confidant of mine and he also happens to own the home that i live in. He took a great chance on renting this place to me but we soon realized we had a lot of the same parallels in life and felt like he was the male version of me.  We both found ourselves having a hard time living  life alone and were in search of trying to find someone to share it with and settle down and have kids. He had the roughest year of anyone i have ever met but continued to be persevering. I talked to him nearly everyday and since not hearing from him on xmas i had a strong feeling something was wrong. For my birthday he ordered me some ice cream brownie concoction from baskin robbins and had the funniest lady being it to me via uber eats. I still had part of it in my freezer and was up eating it on new years eve still thinking about how sweet he was to do such a thing. I miss you terribly Thomas. 

I could write pages and pages of memories I shared with this gentle soul.  He was always kind, but also suffered no fools, which was what I admired greatly about Thomas. We shared many years of love, travel, and friendship that will never be forgotten.  Although he is gone from here too soon, I know he is in his version of heaven, with his beloved grandparents, and probably on a lovely tropical beach somewhere.  He and that smile of his will always be missed greatly.  

Thomas and I became close when We worked together on the same job site. He became a mentor to me while teaching me. He also constantly encouraged  me to advance in our field of expertise. Thomas was not only a coworker to me but also a dear friend. He is and will be forever missed.

Thomas was born just before my high school graduation and I will cherish his arrival, and my small connection in his life, always. His energy and his love for life were contagious. He loved all of the cousins who came after him and was always happy to play with the "little ones" at family gatherings. The older ones welcomed his participation. Watching him grow into the man he became was an honor. I hold on to the hope that he has joined so many others in our family and that the party is going strong. May he rest in peace knowing how much he was truly loved.

You’ll always be my big brother Thomas and you have no idea how much I miss you. Memories of our childhood coming flooding back to me, our crazy high school days, all the ups and downs. You traveled the world and experienced so much but there was still so much to see. I will carry you in my heart forever, you’ve left us way too soon. I pray every night that you’ll come to me in my dreams so that I can see you and hear you again. So many people loved you and we will all see you again. Save a spot on the beach for all of us k. 

Tommy was just 2 years old when I married my husband in my mother's backyard. Everyone loved his big blue eyes and impish grin, and visiting family kept asking why I didn't have him be our ring bearer. He should have been "perfect", except his mother wasn't so sure we'd be able to find the wedding ring if we let him "hold it". Thomas was definitely the epitome of "snips 'n' snails and puppydog tails" as a kid.  He felt things deeply, and past any bravado, he loved his family & friends, dearly. He is now with the many angels who preceded him. We love you, Thomas.

My heartfelt condolences to Thomas’ family. I am praying for your peace. Thomas, may your soul rest easily.  May you have softness and calm seas. Thank you for your contribution to this world. It was better with you in it.
