RAYMOND KEALOHAOKALANI LUI, aka RAYMOND K. PAE, 91, of Kailua, passed away on June 1, 2011. He was born on February 12, 1920 in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from McKinley High School’s Class of 1939. He was a former employee of Hawaiian Dredging and a retired Board of Water Supply employee where he worked from 1949-1974.
He is survived by his sons, Joseph Raymond K. Lui (Agnes), Henry C. Lui (Sharon), Isaac S. Lui (Suzanne), Adam P. Lui (Anna), Allan Lui (partner, Kehau), daughter, Violet Lui-Frank (David); Helen Stone, mother of his children; Dawn Lui, mother of three of his grandchildren; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren. Our Daddy and Grandpa loved us, and we loved him right back.
Visitation from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Borthwick Mortuary-Mauka Chapel. Service at 12:30 p.m. with burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 3 p.m. Aloha attire is requested.
