81, of Honolulu and an Army veteran, passed away July 21, 2023. Kahai retired from the City and County of Honolulu, a journeyman carpenter with 35 years of service. He will be remembered for his extraordinary talent singing and ukulele-playing, his captivating smile, and his aloha for family and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Norman and Angeline Mokuau, he is survived by wife, Patricia; children,
Shana Mokuau [from first marriage] (DJ), Reyd Kapua (Sarah), Jolene Kapua (deceased); grandchildren Brozlyn, Brock (deceased), Mahina, Manoa, Makana; siblings Norma, Nona, Edward (Cheryl) & Noreen (Frank Carlos); and many nieces & nephews.
Services to be held on September 11, 2023 at Borthwick Mortuary, Vineyard Chapel.
