Lily Mercado KIM, 89, of Honolulu, passed away on March 27, 2019. Retired waitress with the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and Hawaiian Regent Third Floor; and Union Local 5 shop-steward. Survived by son, Richard Mercado; daughters, State Senator Donna Mercado Kim, Katherine Morris and Velvet Kim; brother, Alex Atienza; sister, Trini Kamekona; 6 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Andrew YH Kim. Visitation 10:15 a.m. Sat., April 20 at Borthwick Mauka chapel: service 11:15 a.m.; burial 2 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
