Jane Mokihana Lovell Kau, age 89, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away on Tuesday October 31, 2017. Jane was born March 25, 1928 in Township of Kawaihau, Village of Moloa'a, Kauai to mother Lydia Miller, and father Edward Charles Lovell.
Jane is preceded in death by son: Dennis Kau (Suiyen), sisters: Margaret Santos, Katherine Hoe, Thelma Chong, Linda Wong, Daughter In-Law: Cathy.
She is survived by Son: Hampton Kau (Hanh), Daughters: Harolet Darakjian (Jacob), Gwen Matsunaga (Joel), Grand Children (6) - Nicole Souza (Eldon), Jacob Darakjian III (Aina), Kayla Matsunaga, Leia Matsunaga, Simon Kau, Malia Kau, Step Grand Children (2): Nicole Nevey (Steve), Lauren Higashi (Brandon), Great Grand Children (7) - Chelsea Darakjian Souza, Chad Souza, Chays Souza, Reily Darakjian, Reis Darakjian, Olivia Kau, Dennis Kau, Great Great Grand Children (1): Mya Gomez
Jane graduated Farrington High School 1947, and worked in health care medical admissions with Saint Francis Hospital for ten years, and Castle Memorial Center for 24 years. She was President of Pali Women's Golf Club, and recipient of Golf Digest "Johnnie Walker International Hole-In-One Award - 6th day of March, 1987, Pali Golf Links 7th Hole." She was an avid golfer.
A visitation for Jane will be held Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at Pali View Baptist Church, 45-501 Halekou Road, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744. Funeral service to follow. Light refreshments will be provided.
An inurnment will occur Monday, March 26, 2018 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, time - to be determined. Lot # 82, Niche 82.
