Holly Henderson is a management consultant, trainer, facilitator, and the principal of Integrated Outcomes. The bulk of her work is with not-for-profit agencies, whom she assists with organizational development services, training, trouble-shooting, and other issues. She has led workshops throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico and trained for leaders of nongovernmental organizations of 20 countries in Singapore for United Way International and in Western Samoa for the Peace Corps.
When she moved to Hawai'i in 1977, she developed the statewide Volunteer Leadership Development Program and HELP for Nonprofits for the Hawai'i Community Services Council where she worked for 19 years.
In 1922, she developed the Weinberg Fellows Program at the Request if the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, which under her leadership has now trained more than 300 not-for-profit Executive Directors from five islands in leadership and management functions needed to strengthen agencies and the human service sector.
Holly was also asked to develop a sister program for site directors in Hawai'i early childhood centers; the Castle Colleagues Program, now located at Chaminade University, since its inception, has trained more than 150 early childhood leaders on six islands.
Holly served in a committee that developed and taught in a certificate program in not-for-profit management at Kapi'olani Community College, beginning in 2002. She was editor of a written version of the resultant curriculum, for statewide use though community colleges.
Of all her passions, her deepest passion and concern has been, and continues to be, the status of her Native Hawaiians in their own lad. In fact, one of her most valued accomplishments, was when some of her photographs were chosen to appear in "Onipa'a, which was published to document the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy.
