Beach. She was born December 3, 1924, in East St. Louis, Illinois, the daughter of William and Rose
Lohman.
Evelyn was raised in French Village, Illinois and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. She worked for
Walworth Valve in the last years of World War Two. She married the love of her life, Louis Cislo on July
26, 1947. Louis was a career Naval Officer and through his duty stations, they made their homes across
the country including Illinois, Massachusetts, New York, Virginia, New Mexico, California, Cuba and
finally Hawaii in 1968.
Eve loved to travel and spent time visiting every US state, Canada, Mexico, countries in Europe, the
Caribbean, the Pacific, and Asia. She was a long-time parishioner at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in
Kaneohe and then at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Ewa.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Louis, and a sister Lorayne Lang.
She is survived by her beloved children; Debra (Brad) Evans, Randall (Sharon) Cislo, Tracey (Mark) Stein,
Tamara Roberts, Timothy (Dana) Cislo, six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and one great-
great grandchild. In recent years her family grew to include caregivers Gena, Reve, Marilou, Grace,
Maricel, Adela, Katrina, Jethra, Lyka, Chinee and Evelyn.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National cemetery at a later date.
