Clara Maximas Napierala (Flores), 78, of Waianae, passed away on April 25, 2017. She was born on November 27, 1938 in Hoolehua, Molokai to Mary Nahoopii and Simplicio Flores. She was married to Stanley John Anthony Napierala. Her siblings were Samuel “Sam” Flores, Lucy Flores (Rodrigues), Frances “Kekai” Flores, Anita Sugai (Flores), Isao Sugai Sr., Miguel Flores, Daniel Flores, June Flores, Lillian Stowe (Flores), Jim Stowe, Christine Soares (Flores), Orlando “Joe” Soares Sr., Roberta Pemberton (Flores) and Steve Pemberton. Survived by her children John “Sonny” Napierala, Laura Napierala (Rose), Maria Napierala, Rhonda Ferriman (Napierala), Dale Ferriman, Richard Napierala Sr., Misty Napierala (Cummings) and Hanai son, Henry Guzman. Her grandchildren are Ikaika Kana’iaupuni, Ashley Ilaoa (Kana’iaupuni), Kaleb Ilaoa, Kealii Rose, Christine Souza, Keoni Napierala-Rose, Krysta Freitas, Johnothan Napierala-Rose, J-Zen Napierala-Rose, J-Lyn Napierala-Rose, Donald Napierala-Dias III, Randy “Pono” Napierala-Dias, Krista Rego, Brandy “Aloha” Napierala-Dias, Gavin Hashimoto, Maria “Honey Girl” Napierala-Dias, Stanley Napierala, Victoria “Kai” Young, Jacquelynn “Kahea” Young, Natasha “Tasha” Ferriman-Denison (Ferriman), Micah Denison, Nikita “Niki” Ferriman, Jay Pasol, Nicole Ferriman, Lionel Antonio, Samantha Smith (Napierala), John Smith III, Kaesha-Marie Cummings, Shiloh Byrd, and Richard Napierala Jr. Her great grandchildren are Madison Kana’iaupuni, Leilah Ilaoa, Madden Ilaoa, Keola Rose, Krymson King Freitas-Napierala, Donald Napierala-Dias IV, Dominic Napierala-Dias, Destin Napierala-Dias, Daisy Napierala-Dias, Kaylee Napierala, Layla Napierala, Shaiston Napierala, Tristiny Hashimoto, Trustyn Hashimoto, Jeriah Napierala, Jerney Donerson, Jerzey Donerson, Keira-Leigh Napierala-Burns, Naia Rabe, Stylee Napierala, Rayce Ferriman-Denison, Shanley Alana-Ferriman, David “Bubba” Riveira Jr., Tatumn Ferriman-Figueroa, John Smith IV and Riley Rose Smith. She was a retired cafeteria worker at Waianae Coast Day Care Center who would often vacation in Las Vegas. Her hobbies were working on crossword puzzles and watching television. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, Lifetime Movie Network, and the Hallmark Channel. Clara had a big heart and would never fail to put a smile on your face. She will be truly missed by her loved ones. Service will be held at Sacred Hearts Waianae Church on Saturday, June 10, 2017, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by the scattering of her ashes outside of Pokai Bay. A celebration of life will commence at the Waianae Boat Harbor.
