Sandie attended Farrington High School, then became heavily involved as an advocate for women’s rights. Sandie was the true definition of a free spirit, bringing laughter and fun everywhere she went. She devoted her life to her family and to raising her seven children; filling their lives with love, happiness, and stability. She loved to dance and was passionate about music, often referred to as the life of the party. She made certain her family had a love for the outdoors; enjoying days at the beach, going hiking, or cruising around her home of Hawaii. Sandie was a best friend, a confidante, and a guiding light to her children, her family, and her many friends.
She is survived by four daughters: Delilah Nieto, Jolanda Nieto (Don), Angela Hann, and Saquisha Woods-Crawford (A’Preal); and three sons: Anthony Perkins (Marla), Jamual Perkins (Jaysie), and David Hann (Amanda). She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, the oldest of which include: Shaquita, Tashawna, Sheadon, Shyrell, Ester, Lydia, Shyana and Anthony Jr. and 2 great grandchildren.
Although Sandie is no longer with us, her spirit and her light will shine through us all, forever.
