Bernard E. P. Ching, Age 102, Passed away on October 12, 2020 peacefully at his home in Kaneohe.
He was born in Hilo, raised on Maui, then moved to Oahu. He served in the United States Army. He worked as a federal fire fighter.
After retiring, he discovered the game of tennis. He shared the love of the sport with many and finally gave it up at the age of 97.
He is survived by his daughter, Bernadette Chaves: Son-in-law, Leonard: Grand daughter, Trisha Borrero: her husband, Joseph. Two great grandchildren, Odin and Quentin Borrero.
