WILLIAMSON, Ronald J. “Ron” 48, of Homosassa, Fl. passed away Feb. 7, 2014 while under the care of HPH Hospice in Lecanto, Fl. A native of Trenton, N.J. he came to the area in 1971. Ron served his country in the U.S. Navy for 20 years. After his discharge he pursued his dream of becoming a geologist and graduated from the University of S. Alabama with his Bachelor’s Degree. He worked for the U.S. Seismological Institute in Albuquerque, N.M. He was also Christian by faith.
Survivors include his parents Helen Bandermer of Homosassa, Fl. and John Williamson of Leesburg, Fl.; brother, Kenneth Williamson of DeBary, Fl.; 2 sisters Donna Chavelier of Warren, Mass. and Deborah Clem of Lecanto, Fl.; several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Monday 1 PM at Prairie Creek Conservation Cemetery in Gainesville, Fl.
