Born Jan. 20, 1928 in Homosassa to the late Hiram J. and Ellen M. (Miley) Locklear and was a life long residence of this area. Mary was the former owner and broker of Trotter Realty of Homosassa. She was a member of Primitive Church of Jesus Christ of Inglis, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Trotter.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Gloria (Bill) Holmes of Chiefland, FL, Paula Lord of Homosassa and Flora (Joe) Northcut of Crystal River; brother Mark Locklear of Wildwood; sisters L Holgate of Atlanta, GA, Lynn Townsend and Merle Bloomfield both of Jacksonville; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, at the Primitive Church Of Jesus Christ. Family will receive friends from 2 p.m., Tuesday until the hour of service at the Church. Donations may be given in memory of Mary to Hospice of Citrus County.
