Our beloved mother, Judith “Judy” C. Gardner, left this earth and was received by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 19, 2023 at age 81. She was born February 3, 1942 in Ridley Park, PA but grew up in Strawberry Plains, TN from a very young age. Judy married her husband of 48 years, David, on February 14th, 1975, and they moved to Citrus County with their young children in 1980. She loved her Jesus, her family, her animals, and her favorite team, the Florida State Seminoles. She spent several years attending Homosassa Church of God and Crystal River Church of God. You could usually find her enjoying a meal at her favorite local diner, Luigi’s restaurant. In her younger years she enjoyed fishing, dancing, and flea marketing, which she continued until her passing. She took multiple career paths throughout the years – such as American Aluminum, Tri-City Real Estate, and recently Kittens and Paws. Even though life wasn’t always easy for her, she lived her life fiercely and loved that same way. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Billie Sentell, and father Carl Sentell. Judith is survived by her husband, David Gardner; sister Madelyn “Susie” Sentell, her sons, Mike Beard (wife Kathy), Mark Beard (wife Anna), Kenneth Beard, Scott Beard, Brian Gardner (wife Hannah), Shawn Gardner (wife Nicole), and her only daughter; Cindy Floyd (husband Jeff). She was blessed with 14 grandchildren; Alisha, Connor, Justin, Carson, Kaylee, Kashton, Kenna, Mark, Alyssa, Brandon, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Olivia; and 7 great grandchildren; Raylin, Justin, Brianna, Landon, Jace, Lilith, Anakis. A memorial service will be held on March 24th, 2023 at Crystal River Church of God with a public viewing at 10AM and service at 11AM. Procession to immediately follow at Fountains Memorial Park in Homosassa. Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL. www.wilderfuneral.com
