John Michael Lockhart, 90, LT Col U S Air Force retired of Homosassa died Wed., April 27, 2011 in Brooksville, FL. Born Mar. 25, 1921 in Rochester, NY and moved to Homosassa 7 years ago from Edinburg, NY. Col Lockhart was an Air Force veteran of WWII and a retired teacher. He was a member of St Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church of Homosassa.
He was preceded in death by sons John T. Lockhart and Matthew I. Lockhart; daughter Michele Dettmering.
He is survived by his wife Jean V. Lockhart; sons Mark S. Lockhart and Terence P. Lockhart; daughter Pamela Sue Klever; brothers Gerard and Steven Lockhart; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Condolence may be given at www.wilderfuneral.com
