Eva "JoAnn" McDonald Pringle Procious, 90, of Homosassa, FL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 23, 2024. A native of Louisville, Kentucky, she was born September 7, 1934, to parents Arlie G. and Barbara Grisson McDonald. JoAnn moved to Homosassa in 1977 with her husband LeRoy and their four children. LeRoy and his friends later built them a family home. A homemaker most of her life, JoAnn was rarely angry or upset. She was a joy to be around and loved with her whole heart every day. JoAnn loved bowling, crocheting, playing cards with friends, bragging about her 13 grandkids, and letting everyone know she had 20 great-grandchildren. She especially loved seeing all the family's children on her living room floor opening presents on Christmas Day. It was a tradition that began with her own children, expanded to her grandchildren, and eventually her great-grandchildren. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, her husband, LeRoy Pringle, her husband, Howard Procious, her son, Jeff Pringle, and her daughter, Elaine Simmons. She is survived by her son, Ralph Pringle, and daughter, Laura Jay, her 13 grandchildren, her 20 great-grandchildren, and many extended family and friends. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff at Diamond Ridge Health & Rehab and Vitas Healthcare for providing her with special care and comfort. Friends will be received on Saturday, November 30, 2024 from 11 am to 12 pm at Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 South Suncoast Blvd, Homosassa, FL, 34446. A Celebration of Life will follow from 12 pm to 1 pm. Graveside committal will follow from 1:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Dunnellon Memorial Gardens, 10939 SW 210th Ave, Dunnellon, FL, 34431. www.macrini-wilderfuneral.com
