James Edward “Duke” Parker, Jr., 69 of Inverness, FL died Fri., July 15, 2011 in Inverness. Born May 18, 1942 in Syracuse, NY and moved to this area in 1984 from Syracuse. James was a retired fork lift operator for General Motors. He was a member of the United Auto Workers, Citrus County Drug Free Youth and NARANON. .
Preceded in death by his Wife Carolyn R. Parker.
He is survived by his son James E. Parker, III and wife Sally of Hernando; daughter Deborah L. Parker and husband Henry Davis of Inverness; mother Geraldine McConnell of Syracuse, NY; 6 grandchildren Tasha Parker, Alex Parker, Andy Parker, Sarah Parker, J. D.
