Gary David Gray

Gary David Gray, 70, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at HCA Florida Ocala Regional Hospital in Ocala, FL. A native of New Brunswick, New Jersey, he was born January 1, 1953 to Raymond and Ruth (Bingert) Gray, one of three children. Gary served his country honorably and proudly in the United States Air Force and then enjoyed a long career as a food buyer with U.S. Foods. Mr. Gray moved to Homosassa in 2006 from North Lauderdale, Florida. Gary’s special passions in life were playing the guitar and fishing, and he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Bruce Gray. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Mary H. Gray of Homosassa; sons Christopher Gray of Grand Island, Florida and Jason Gray (wife Natalie) of Weston, Florida; grandchildren Michael, Devin, Kaleb, Mateo, Aubrie and Olivia, all of Florida; brother Wayne Gray (wife Barbara) of Toms River, New Jersey, as well as a large extended family of in-laws.
