Charles P. Baldi

It is with great sadness that the family of Charles P. Baldi announces his passing on Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at the age of 87 years. He was born July 9, 1931 in Buffalo NY to Anthony and Grace Baldi. He was married to Margaret Baldi who preceded him in death. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his second wife of 17 years, Alice Bianchet Baldi, his children and step children. Charles will also be forever remembered by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. He was a devout Catholic, member of St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church in Homosassa, FL. and very involved with the St. Vincent de Paul Society. He was also a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus in Kenmore, NY and Homosassa, FL. He selflessly donated much of his time to these organizations to help others. He was an American, Korean War veteran who served in the United States Army. His favorite hobby was bowling. An avid bowler, he was a longtime member and secretary of the senior bowling league. A Memorial Service in memory of Charles will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday December 21, 2018 at St. Thomas The Apostle Catholic Church with Father Glenn Diaz officiating. The family requests no flowers please. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Wilder Funeral Home handling the arrangements.
