Carolyn Hindelang

Carolyn Hindelang, 61, of Brooksville, FL, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville. A native of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, she was born November 18, 1961 to Roy Rupert Wood. Sr. and Annette (Brittain) Wood, one of three children. Carolyn moved to Brooksville from Lakeland, FL in 1999 and enjoyed a 17 year career as a sales associate with Lowe’s, exclusively at their Broad Street location in Brooksville. She loved collecting dolls and spending time around the swimming pool. Her perfect day would involve spending time with her family and friends. Carolyn was a hard worker, funny, outgoing and reliable. If she had it to give, she would help anyone in a heartbeat. She will be truly loved and missed by her family and friends and will live forever in their hearts and memories. Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Roy Rupert Wood, Sr.; paternal grandparents John and Capitola Wood and maternal grandparents Clarence and Juanita Brittain; daughter Kimberly Hindeland and brother-in-law Timothy McCutcheon. Carolyn is survived by her children Tamara Rodriguez (husband Manuel), Vero Beach, FL and Jeffery Hindelang (fiancé Maggie Harding), Sebastian, FL; mother Annette Wood, Altha, FL; grandchildren Addie-Jean Volek, Martin Volek, Jeremiah Davis, Xavier Davis, Tobias Hindelang and Abel Davis, all of Vero Beach, FL and Kendal Palmer, Jeffery Hindelang, Araya Hindelang, Ellie Hindelang and Josephine Hindelang, all of Sebastian, FL; siblings Terrie McCutcheon and Roy Wood, Jr. (wife Debbie), both of Altha, FL; nephews Timothy McCutcheon and Ryan Wood and nieces Jessica McCutcheon and Dawn McDaniel.
