On October 5, 2024, my beautiful mother, Carol "Suzanne" Long, 87, of Homosassa, FL, passed away in Brooksville, FL. Born in Hillsborough County in 1937, Mom was very proud of her native roots, only leaving Florida for a few years (2006-2020) to live in Blountsville, TN with her family. Suzanne was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Geraldine Harding, and her sisters Betty "Jean" Gill and Virginia "Carleen" Brameister and her brothers Lewis and Dewey Brown. Her precious granddaughter, Elizabeth Suzanne, also preceded her in death, but what a heavenly reunion they had! Suzanne is survived by her daughter Jennifer D. McKittrick (Jeffrey) of Homosassa, FL; grandson Andrew Robert McKittrick (Jessee), and great granddaughter Ivie Rose McKittrick of Bristol, TN, as well as several nieces and nephews.
