Carl Moody

Carl was the former owner of Springs Transmissions of Homosassa Springs and attended the Grace Bible Church. While living in Pinellas Park, Carl was a Stock Car Driver at the Sunshine Speedway in Pinellas Park. He was an avid fisherman, private pilot flying his own plane and he was a great story teller.

He was preceded in death by his parents Max Moody and Lucille Foster; brothers J. L. Moody and Lamar Moody.

He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Barbara Moody of Homosassa; sons Tony Childers (Donna) of Buford, GA, Randy Moody (Julie) of St Petersburg and Andy Moody of Chiefland; daughter Cindy Moody of Tarpon Springs; brother Norman Moody of Georgia; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held 11 a m, Thursday, Aug. 9th, 2012 at the Grace Bible Church, 6382 W Green Acres St, Homosassa.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Carl may be given to HPH Hospice or Grace Bible Church Building Fund.
