Tom was born the son of Claude and Virginia Gauldin on April 4, 1933, in Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1951. His passion for hard work led him to travel abroad as a skilled Bricklayer, where he utilized his talent to help build and shape the world around him. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954-1956.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda (nee Robbins) Gauldin, whom he married in 1991. Tom is survived by two children from his first marriage, Thomas Christopher (Michelle) Gauldin and Warren Keith (Marianne) Gauldin, and his three grandchildren, William Christopher Gauldin, Abbie Gauldin (Henry) Lilly, and Harrison Lee Gauldin. With his warm smile and gentle nature, Tom left an indelible mark on the lives of those who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his kindness, integrity, and unwavering love for his family.
Graveside services with military honors will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 10:15 a.m. at Alabama National Cemetery, located at 3133 US Hwy 199, Montevallo, AL 35115.
