Teddye Travis Gorman

Mrs. Teddye Travis Gorman of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on February 17, 2015. She was a graduate of Phillips High School, a twenty-five year member of Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, a talented artist, and an avid animal lover. She is survived by her husband, Leon R. Gorman and children, Gip Plott, Julie Plott, Kent Gorman (Renee), Randy Gorman (Cleo), and Lynn Smith (Bob). Grandchildren, Lauren Gorman, Will Gorman, Charlie Smith, Wilson Smith, Michelle Gorman and Ellie Gorman. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood on Monday, February 23rd from 11:00-12:00, with memorial service immediately following at Noon. Memorials honoring the life of Teddye Gorman may be directed to Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church and/or the Birmingham Humane Society. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (879-3401) in Homewood.
