Samuel Edward Yelverton passed away on July 28,2014. He was born in West Palm Beach Florida. He graduated high school and Junior College from Georgia Military Academy, College Park Georgia and attended The University of Florida where he was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He served as Captain in The United States Army overseas. During his career, he was involved in developing the automotive computer industry and retired from Automotive Service Consultants. Hobbies included sailing and spending time with his family. He was a past commodore of the Pine Harbor Yacht Club. He was a member of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church. Sam is survived by his wife of 60 years Paulette Neville Yelverton, daughters , Jennifer Yelverton Bartlett and her husband Malcolm Lee Bartlett,Teresa Yelverton Morrow and her husband Malcolm Allan Morrow,his grandchildren , Taylor Christopher Bartlett and his wife Laura Clark Bartlett, and Clayton Lee Bartlett and his wife Katherine Kelley Bartlett.
