Peggy Horne Butler

She was a graduated from Jemison High School. Peggy spent over 20 years as the Director of the Extended Day/After-school Program at Cahaba Heights Elementary School. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her grandchildren more than anything else. She loved watching and cheering for University of Alabama football.

Peggy was is preceded in death by her loving husband Ted Wesley Butler. She is survived by her daughters Traci Butler Petsch (Mark) of North Palm Beach, FL and Jennifer Butler West (Joey) of Cahaba Heights, AL; three grandchildren Crawford West, Grainger West and Reese Petsch; and sister, Betty Horne Marcus of Niceville, Florida. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Sue Butler Orr, Florence, SC., and several nieces and nephews that she loved so very much.

A Celebration of Life reception will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 11:00am – 1:00pm at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL.
