Pastor Richard (Dick) Charles Brown

Richard “Dick” Charles Brown was born on October 20, 1927 in Birmingham AL and left this life on November 16, 2013 in Edmond, OK at 86 year of age. Memorial services will be held Monday, November 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Rocky Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church.In lieu of flowers the family suggest that donations be made to Rocky Ridge Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL.

Dick is survived by his wife, Marye, of the home; his son Ben (an assistant public defender) and daughter-in-law, Pam (an attorney in private practice) of Warr Acres, OK; grandchildren: Robert Lay and his wife Elena of Jacksonville, FL; Christopher Lay of Warr Acres, OK; Candace Brown of Warr Acres, OK; Heather Blevins and her husband, Wes, of Jenks, OK; great-grandchildren: Robby Lay, Mikle Lay, Cameron Lay and Madison Breshears of Jenks, OK; Ian Lay of Norman, OK; and Samantha Brown of Warr Acres, OK. Close family include: Walter T McGaha, Jr., Rubye and Hubert Bearden, Terry and Regina Bearden, Jan Bearden, Kelly Bearden, Connie, Mike and Elizabeth Turner, 3 nieces and a nephew. Preceded in death by his parents, Ralph G. Brown and Thelma Clay Brown and his 3 brothers, Ralph Brown, Jr., Tom Brown and Bill Brown.
