Nick Anthony Jovings

Jovings, Nick Anthony, born May 1, 1964, went to sleep in the peaceful and loving arms of his Heavenly Father, His Lord Jesus Christ on April 2, 2020. Waiting to greet him are his loving and devoted father, Jack Jovings; sister-in-law Kimberly Jovings; grandparents: Claude & Nickie Renta, Sam & Pauline Jovings and uncle Charles Renta. Nick is survived by his devoted mother, Josephine Renta Jovings, brother; Sam Jovings of Fairhope, AL and sister; Jacqueline Jovings of Woodstock, GA . Nick attended Auburn University and graduated from The University of Alabama at Birmingham with Honors. Those who know Nick, will remember him to be a kind, loving and talented person. A Private Burial Service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Thursday, April 9 at 11 am with a memorial service held at a later date. The family requests donations to be made to Saint Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN or Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Hoover, AL in Nick’s memory: Rest in peace our precious love one and always remember you are loved Now and Forever. Dad would remind us to ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES.
