Nicholas J. Pounds (Nicky) passed away following a brief illness on Dec. 12, 2014. Nicky never met a stranger and developed many friendships across all walks of life. He lived life to the fullest in every way. His contagious smile and outgoing personality will be missed by all who knew him.
Nicky is preceded in death by his parents, Catherine (Kitti) P. Galloway and John H. Pounds. He is survived by his brother Jay Pounds (Joanne),cousin Nicky Peters (Patti); niece, Cally Dixon (Bob),nephew Hamilton Pounds (Bonnie) and Michael Pounds (Melanie).
A celebration of Nicky’s life will be Friday, Dec. 19, 2014 at 4:00 PM at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, AL.
In lieu of flowers donation can be made in Nicky’s name to the YMCA or your favorite charity.
