Mary Jane Monroe

Mary Jane Morris Monroe, 97, of Hoover, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband Robert K. Monroe. Survived by her son, Robert K. “Bo” Monroe (Jan) and daughter, Dana Monroe Burnes (Paul), grandchildren Brooke Monroe Carruthers (Tom), Robert Burnes (Lisa), Amy Burnes Machin (Martin), and numerous great grandchildren and one great great grand child.

Visitation will be at Ridout’s Valley Chapel, 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood,AL on Tuesday, March 10 from 10:30 AM until 12 noon. Private graveside service for family following. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to South Highland Presbyterian Church, Birmingham, Alabama or the Presbyterian Home for Children, Talladega, Alabama.
