The one main constant throughout Marie’s life was her deep faith. Marie was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church. She was a devout Catholic Church. She was also an active member of OLS' Our Lady of Grace Guild and active in OLS' VIP. When she could not attend church in person, she always watched mass on her television
Marie had tun, also. She was a longtime member of Homewood's Senior Center. Her favorite activity? Bingo! She was a Bingo player at her VIP meetings. She did not just pay Bingo, she excelled in it.
Catholicism was at the center of her life. Besides church friends, Marie developed friendships in the community and at the Senior Center. She remained active and busy throughout her 95 years. She developed many, many long-time friendships. Although she had stopped driving, she never was without transportation to OLS, the Center, or to her doctors’ appointments because she had developed true friends. All of her friends will be at the OLS funeral, whether in person or spirit. Also, she has many friends and family members waiting in Heaven. Please pray for her family and friends as she would pray for you.
