Joe McMillan Hall, Jr.

Joe McMillan Hall, Jr. age 84, of Helena, Alabama, passed away peacefully, February 28, 2021. He is survived by his sons, Joe McMillan Hall, III (Mary) and William "Michael" Hall (Carla) and his four beautiful granddaughters: Nancy "Kingston" Hall, Phoebe Michelle Hall, Elizabeth Anne Hall, and Margaret "Maggie" Lee Hall. He was preceded in death by his parents Joe McMillan Hall Sr., Annette Scarbrough Hall, his wife Charlotte Galloway Hall, and his brother William "Bill" Arthur Hall.

Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from North Texas University in Health, Physical Education, & Recreation.

He spent his career as an educator and as a coach. He was an avid archer, rifle marksman, wood and leather craftsman, musician, and artist. He loved to use his talents to build and create unique works of art. He was a giver of his time, knowledge, and experiences.

A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021, at 11:00 am at Southcrest Baptist Church in Bessemer, Alabama. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at Brewersville Cemetery in Livingston, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Brewersville Cemetery Fund, 6814 Alabama Highway 28 East Livingston, Alabama 35470
