Janet Ann Thomas

Janet Ann Kee Thomas,94, of Birmingham died October 3, 2018. Mrs. Thomas was a graduate of Central High School, Memphis, TN and attended UAB and Birmingham Southern College. Mrs. Thomas was a long standing member of Mountain Brook Baptist Church and Hope Sunday School class.

Mrs. Thomas was a member of DAR, Magna Carta Dames, Jamestown Society, Plantegenet Society, United Daughters of the Confederacy and Colonial Dames 17th Century.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Foster Thomas.

She is survived by her sons, Harold F. Thomas, Jr and James W. Thomas and daughters, Mary Lu Roberts and Janet Parish. Grandchildren Christine K. Hseu, Janet L. Roberts, Mary Fenwick

Grovenstein, Kelly V. Parish, Luke Parish and Troy Thomas. Great grandchildren Maddox K. Hseu, Jackson Thomas and Dylan Thomas. She was married in 1945 in Memphis and moved to Birmingham. She and her husband, Harold started real estate development years later building fine homes in Mountain Brook and apartments in the Birmingham area.

Family will receive friends Tuesday October 9, 2018 10-11 at Ridout's Valley Chapel, Homewood, Al, followed by funeral at 11. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
