Jane Harsh Glasser

Mrs. Glasser attended Mary Baldwin, The University of Alabama, and Birmingham Southern. She was one of the founding members of Briarwood Presbyterian Church, where she taught many Bible Classes and in her home as well. She was a previous member of The Junior League of Birmingham, The Linley Heflin Unit, and The Mountain Brook Country Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Sibley Harsh and Griffith R. Harsh Jr. and her husband John L. Glasser. She is survived by her two daughters Griffitha Cook (H. Terry Jr.) of Columbia,Tennessee and Mary Jane Arendale (C. Richard Jr. ) of Nashville, Tennessee: five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and her brother Griffith R. Harsh III.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Mark Cushman officiating.
