Jack Campbell passed away at a young age of 87 years. Jack Campbell loved his family, friends and life itself. Always ready for a round of golf, a game of pool, Jack was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for hunting and fishing. He was a veteran of the Korean War, and a member of the Masonic Freemasons and the Shriners. Jack is survived by his long time best friends, Bill and Betty Miller and sister, Nell Cooper (Holly). Jack was a leader in the optical business for 47 years with his surviving wife, Anne Lou Holloway (Campbell). They raised a family of 2 sons, Michael Knox Campbell and Stephen Carl Campbell. Jack and Anne had a total of 4 grandchildren: Josh Campbell (Shelley), Casey Hecklinski (Al), Abby Mitchel (James) and Andrew Campbell. These 4 grandchildren have provided 12 great grandchildren: Josh Jr., Scout Campbell, Saralyn Campbell, Jack Campbell, Ian Campbell, Ava Campbell, Campbell Hecklinski, Caroline Hecklinski, Finn Hecklinski, Boone Hecklinski, James Mitchell III (Tripp) and Sawyer Page Mitchell. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 27th, 2016 from 5-7PM at Johns Ridout’s Valley Chapel 1800 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL.
