Helen Irene Snow Turner, age 97 of Vestavia Hills passed away quietly at her home Monday morning October 8. She was a loving and much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her family and her many friends and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Turner, Jr and her daughter, Nancy Turner Truss. Survivors include her son, Charles T. Turner, III, daughter-in-law, Laura Turner, her 3 grandchildren, her great grand daughter and son-in-law Richard Truss. Helen was born in 1921 in Zephyr, NC and was a long time member of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church in Homewood. Funeral Services will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel at 1PM Friday October 12. Visitation will begin at 11 AM. Graveside Services will be held at Ridout's Southern Heritage Cemetery immediately following.
