Florence (Myrnie) Huff Driskill of Homewood, AL passed away January 3, 2021. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and a former member of Norwood Methodist Church. She belonged to the Fellowship and Friendship Sunday School classes at Trinity, to the Pacesetters senior adult club, and was a long-time volunteer in the church office. She graduated from Phillips High School and the University of Alabama, where she was president of Delta Zeta sorority. She belonged to the Salvation Army Auxiliary where she served on the League of Mercy Committee. She was also a member of the Bama Camping Club, where she served as president.
She is predeceased by her husband of 62 years, William N. Driskill, Jr., her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Huff, and her brother Harry Huff. She is survived by her nieces Julie Huff Hannon (John) of Maryland, Leslie L. Huff of Georgia, Sue Hitchcock of Nevada, Micky Moran (Jim) of California, and nephews Ross Huff (Rebecca) of Georgia, and C.C. Driskill, Jr. (Lora) of California and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be at Elmwood Cemetery on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM
