He is predeceased by his parents Eugenia and Robert Smith, his daughter Jennifer and his brother Pat. Felton is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn, his son James (Jennifer), sister Eugenia Smith Edwards (Bill), nephew Robert (Amanda, McKensie, and Madeline) Hunter.
Felton practiced Law for 34 years at Balch & Bingham LLP where he primarily worked in commercial real estate and banking. He graduated from the University of Colorado, and received his law degree from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. A long time member of the Birmingham Country Club, where he enjoyed golf with “the chisslers”.
A celebration of life will be held at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood, Sunday November 3rd, 2024, from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Lunch will be provided. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Heart Association.
