It was a joy to know Elsie at Mountain Brook Baptist Church.  She was very active as long as she was able, and that friendly, beautiful smile was a blessing to all.  Sympathy to the family!

To Miss Elsie's daughters...I became acquainted with your Mother by phone, an accidentally dialed wrong number, and we immediately started talking and became good friends.  I called her my sweet "pen pal" and we also talked often by phone.  What a precious person she was, and I so enjoyed talking with her.  Of one thing I am certain, she truly loved her family.  My recent cards I sent to her were returned to me and I was concerned that her health might have worsened.  I am going to miss our conversations.  Please feel free to call me at any time, I would love to speak to any of you.  Your Mother was a truly precious person, and now a precious angel.

I didn't get to spend a lot of time with Mrs Bryant but the times that I did get to visit with her was memorable.  She was very friendly.  Prayers are going up for the family.

Elsie was so gracious when you entered her home. She had fine antiques and always thought it best if a daughter or granddaughter could marry second generation family member of law or medicine. I thought it kind of wise of her for that. May God Bless you, Elsie!! :)

Elsie was such a gracious, sweet person and always a lady. George & I remember her with great fondness.
