Elizabeth S. Evans

EVANS, ELIZABETH SIEGFRIED passed away Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the age of 92. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents Ruth and Raymond Siegfried and her husband of 64 years Harry C. Evans. She is survived by her sister: Mary Ruth McKinney of Huntsville, AL.; her sons: John C. Evans (Carol) and Charles Evans; her daughters: Harriet Dupuy (Al) and Susan DeFoor (Jerry); her grandchildren: Chris, Josh, Clay, Abby, Erin, Matt, Rachel and Michelle and her great grandchildren: Haley, Jordan, Ezra, Rhema, Mercy, Jordy, Quinn, Lile, Madden, Silas, Tori and 2 more on the way. The family would like to thank the staff of Home Instead who took such wonderful care of her until she had to leave her home of 58 years. Elizabeth moved to Columbia Cottage Assisted Living with her son Charles, we appreciate the attention, love and support they gave her and are still giving Charles. We thank the staff of Golden Living Center for their great compassion. Mrs. Janice Andrews was Elizabeth's constant companion for several years, bringing her great joy and happiness. We thank you Janice. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Valley Chapel on Wednesday, May 9, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. until 12: 45 p.m. Burial will be private for the family.
