Betty had a servant's heart. She never met a stranger and it brought her much joy to help out those in need. She was a loyal friend to many. She enjoyed spending time in her kitchen and time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Betty was also an avid Auburn fan.
During the past 12 years of her life, God richly blessed our Mom with the most wonderful caregiver, Marilyn Chambliss. Marilyn connected with our mother like no other, bringing her much joy and laughter. She was her angel. Marilyn read the Bible through to our Mom over 16 times. She was with our mother until the very end. We must also mention the patience, love, and care our mother received from the tremendous staff at Danberry At Inverness. We are forever grateful for them as well.
Our sweet, joyful, precious mother will be greatly missed by many!
A time of visitation for Mrs. Dreher will be held Friday, October 30, 2020 from 11:30 to 12:30 PM at Ridout's Valley Chapel followed by a graveside service at Alabama National Cemetery on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Birmingham Missions Fund (2209 Lakeshore Drive, Birmingham, AL 35209) or Big Oak Ranch.
