Elizabeth Anne Glasscock, of Birmingham, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020. She is survived by son Steven Glasscock; daughter Beth Keplinger (Kris); granddaughters Emily Keplinger, Ellie Keplinger and Kate Keplinger; brother Stanley (Sue) Virciglio and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by husband Royal Ryan "Dink" Glasscock, parents Augustine John "A.J." and Stella Virciglio, and sister Peggy Jo Virciglio Shelburne.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Mrs. Glasscock is an active member of First Baptist Church of Birmingham. Her many passions include cooking, Thursday Bridge Group, Auburn football, and above all, family.
A private graveside service will be on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 11:00 am with visitation following. The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to ShowHope.org, Eagle Ranch or The American Cancer Society.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Noah Fitzpatrick for unyielding care and compassion, His steadfast friendship and love for both Anne and her husband, Dink, have been overwhelming. Additional thanks are given to her caregivers Bernadette McCollough, Deliah Ross, Nadine Frost, Altaviece Jones and Benita Fay, as well as hospice caregivers, Vickey Allums, Ron Parker and William Persall. Their kindness, tenderness and loving care captured the hearts of not only "Da", but the entire Glasscock family. Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood.
