Edward Joseph Salem Jr.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Joseph Salem, Sr. and Ann Dugger Salem. He is survived by Stuart Brasell, James Claude Salem, Wayne Anthony Salem, and Stephen Mark Salem.

Joe was a graduate of St. Stanislaus Catholic High School and the University of Alabama. He was a great cook and liked preparing Arabic Food. Joe enjoyed having friends near and loved meeting people. His pups were his greatest joy, and Naturally, Alabama Football was his favorite.

Friends are cordially invited to the Graveside Service on Monday, the 21st of August, at Elmwood Cemetery. Services will commence at 1:30 p.m.

The family requests with gratitude that memorials honoring Joe's life be directed to the Lake Martin Humane Society located at 2502 Sugar Creek Road, Alexander City, Alabama 35010 or to a charity or cause important to you.

Services are under the direction of Ridout's Valley Chapel (205-879-3401) in Homewood.
